The motion is a little bit jerkier than I wanted, but I think I can manually set the time lapse intervals to give me more exposures next time. Ideal for daily documentation for a construction or sunsize/sunsets. If your camera is already configured (via the Quik App) to enable auto upload to the GoPro cloud, you can use this daily timelapse to automatically sync each day. With the help of an additional battery, the GoPro can take an additional 2 to 3 hours of shooting in time-lapse mode. Considering that no other features are in use, the battery is fully charged and brand new.

I tried a few shots with the Sony on the first night, however I don’t have a wide enough angle lens to really capture a night sky like I wanted to (something else to add to the shopping list). Having all three line up was awesome.Įquipment wise I brought along my Sony a6000 and my GoPro Hero 9 Black. The night skies were clear, which meant it was a perfect time to try some astrophotography! I’ve always wanted to do more of this, but it’s rare that I’m away from light pollution, with my camera gear, when the skies are clear.
