It’s legit a clusterfuck of superheros who are all yelling at once, and Supes just shut them all up. When all’s said and done, EVERYONE STARTS FREAKING OUT. Like one that says “Do it, you won’t you fucking pussy” And Clark is like “Challenge fucking accepted kid who is basically the equivalent to a little boy who taunted me on xbox live !!!!” and beams him through the face. So he gives Clark this intense, nasty glare. And like, Billy knows his death might just save everybody on this planet and like no he can’t let Clark win. He’s like “WTH why would you even? God you really are a monster! Lois would think that too, you fucking bag of dicks!!” And that is trigger worthy enough for Superman to legit pick up a 15 (ish? I’m not sure how old he is in Injustice anymore) year old kid and freeze his mouth shut.Įveryone there is like, “Whoa, Clark fucking chill, but not chill Billy anymore thank.” And even Diana is like, “Clark… hon, no put the small boy down.” Supes hesitates for a moment while Billy is dangling from his fist. So Billy hears this and legit can’t hold back and play dumb anymore. He arrives to the meeting late after sparing with a colleague or something and is still Billy. Eventually the day comes when Supes is like “TIME TO DROP BOMBS AND SHIT” and instead of Shazam, Billy is Billy when he hears this. When Clark’s like, “Billy why you no fight good?” Billy is like “Well if you didn’t kill Hercules, maybe I’d still have his strength, ever think about that? ” And it’s a good enough excuse that everyone buys it. Bruce is like, “Why not! What could possibly go wrong! ” And so Billy starts being a little spy because Clark actually tells him shit sometimes, and Billy starts purposely loosing fights.
Harley is obviously upset about this and once the two are home (in the Quiver) Billy asks Harley if she can maybe tell someone from the resistance about all this and that he isn’t gonna lie down like a dog, if he’s going out he’s going out while giving Supes the middle fingers of Justice! So Harley tells Catwoman and is like, “Yo, my bae Shazzy wants to stick it to Supes ‘cause he’s realized how awesome I am, can he be like a spy/informant?” And Selina’s like “I’M NOT EVEN ON B’S SIDE RIGHT NOW but fine whatev” and contacts Bats about it. And Billy’s like “OF FUCKING COURSE” and decides that, for the greater good, he’s willing to die. Billy is obviously upset and is like “This is BS WTH! I WAS RIGHT TO DOUBT HIM” But the oracle goes on to explain that Billy’s involvement in the Regime has gone on to far, that Billy’s death is a catalyst that could in fact save the entire world from destruction. The gist is that neither is good and it’s heavily vague’ed upon that Billy’s gonna die because of Superman. So my idea (which I wanted to talk about for a while) kinda merges what happened both in the game and what has happened so far in the comic. Honestly I have my own idea where Billy’s death in Injustice would actually make sense, and because the comic seems to be different than the video game, they might do something different with Billy. That BLACK ADAM literally took on the entire League and almost won if it wasn’t for him taunting Cyborg.Īnd the video game is like UUUHHGGGG because like, I get that they had to keep to a certain narrative when it came to defeating Shazam, but the thing is, this would never happen? Like Shazam could beat them all? DC HAS MADE IT CLEAR TIME AND TIME AGAIN THAT SHAZAM/CAPTAIN MARVEL CAN MATCH SUPERMAN IN PURE STRENGTH LIKE? WHO FUCKING SANCTIONED THIS? Like they made it a point that he and Diana couldn’t defeat Black Adam on their own. There would have been no way Superman could have just killed Shazam. Then again, everyone in Flashpoint died, so really was Billy’s death really that useless?Īnyway, you’re right, Billy’s death in Injustice was Bull. Thanks for making me relive these! Ha ha ha!
